Handcrafted 10" × 17.5" × ¾" Lake-Shaped Serving Board

A serving board that doesn't get put away. Cut to the outline of Lake Tahoe from one solid slab of Peruvian walnut, it works as a charcuterie and cheese platter when people are over, then hangs on the wall as art when they're not.

The Peruvian walnut is the draw here — deep chocolate brown shot through with warm reddish tones, carrying a long, straight ribbon grain that changes character depending on where the light hits it. One piece of wood, no inlays and no seams, hand-shaped and sanded so the edges follow the shoreline.

As shown in the photos, the board measures 10" × 17.5" with a ¾" thickness. Non-slip rubber feet on the back keep it planted on a counter, and a sawtooth hanger comes already installed for wall mounting. The back carries the engraved Rustic Incline mark, the wood species, and the maker's signature.

The finish is 100% food safe: food-safe mineral oil worked into the grain, then sealed with Good Wood Wax, our own beeswax wood conditioner made here in Lake Tahoe. Serve straight off the wood.

Care Instructions: Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Dry immediately. Reapply food-safe mineral oil and a coat of Good Wood Wax periodically to keep the grain rich and the surface sealed. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
