Custom Signs

We design, build and install signs. Some of it comes off the laser in our Incline Village shop — engraved wood panels, laser-cut dimensional letters, painted acrylic on sign foam. The rest we produce through commercial sign manufacturing partners, which means channel letters, illuminated cabinets, monument signs, metal fabrication and large-format graphics are all on the table too.

Recent work

Rosewood Pizzeria

A laser-engraved hardwood panel wrapping the header above the kitchen pass-through. Script and block lettering with a checkerboard band, engraved rather than printed, so the mark is cut into the wood and reads as part of the room instead of something hung on it.

Forever Rox Fine Jewelry

A hanging blade sign for a covered walkway storefront. Laser-cut painted acrylic letters on sign foam, raised off a white face in a black frame, so the gold script throws a real shadow and stays legible from either direction down the walkway. Built in the shop, hung on site.

Lake Tahoe Karate

An exterior panel mounted above the entry breezeway. Gold lettering on a dark ground, sized to be read from the parking lot rather than from the doorway.

What we build

  • Engraved wood panel signs — interior or exterior, cut and engraved in our shop
  • Dimensional raised letters — laser-cut acrylic, PVC or sign foam, painted to spec
  • Blade and hanging signs — for walkways, storefronts and interiors
  • Exterior building signs — weather-rated panel and metal fabrication
  • Illuminated signs and channel letters — lit cabinets, halo and face-lit letters
  • Monument and post-mounted signs
  • Interior wayfinding, menu boards and ADA signage
  • Window, wall and vehicle graphics

How a sign project runs

  1. Tell us the space. A photo of the wall, storefront or room, and a rough size. That is usually enough to start.
  2. We come back with a direction and a number. Materials, construction, and an honest price — including whether a cheaper approach would serve you just as well.
  3. You approve the artwork. A proof before anything is cut, so spelling, spacing and proportion are settled on paper.
  4. We build it.
  5. We install it — or ship it, if you're outside our install area or have your own installer.

What it costs

$1-$1,000,000.00

What moves the price: size, whether it is interior or exterior, materials, whether it lights up, how much design work the artwork needs, and installation.

Questions

Do you make signs for businesses in Lake Tahoe?

Yes. We are based in Incline Village, Nevada, and our work is up around the lake — restaurants, retail storefronts and studios.

What kinds of signs can you make?

All of them. Engraved wood and dimensional letters come off the laser in our own shop; illuminated cabinets, channel letters, monument signs, metal fabrication and large-format graphics are produced through commercial manufacturing partners. You deal with us either way.

Do you install, or just build?

We personally oversee every sign installation.

Do I need my logo in a particular format?

A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) is ideal because it scales to any size cleanly. A JPG or PNG can work, and if all you have is a photo of your existing sign we can redraw it. Tell us what you've got.

How long does a sign take?

The timeframe depends on many factors. We can discuss after we answer a few qualifying questions.

Can you match my existing signage or brand?

Yes. Send a photo of what is already up, or your brand colors and fonts, and we will build to match.

What about permits and landlord approval?

Most commercial exterior signs need landlord sign-criteria approval, a town or county permit, or both. Tell us up front if you know your requirements — it shapes what we can build, and it is far cheaper to design around than to redo.

Not sure what the thing you want is called? Pick the last option and describe it below.
Exterior signs need weather-rated materials, which changes both the build and the price.
A rough guess is fine. If you have a photo of the space, mention it and we'll ask you to send it.
Landlord sign criteria or a town permit requirement is worth mentioning up front — it shapes what we can build.

We reply within one to two business days. Quotes are free, and we'll tell you honestly if a different approach would serve you better.
