A 10.5 x 18 x 1.75 inch bowl carved from sapele and shaped to the outline of Lake Tahoe.
Deep enough to hold fruit, keys, or pocket change, shallow enough to leave out as a piece on its own. Sapele is dense and reddish-brown with a grain that moves in the light, which is why we reach for it when the shape has to carry the piece.
