Custom Engraved Lake Tahoe Boards

We make custom Lake Tahoe boards to order. Names, dates, cabin names, or a short message — laser-engraved into a charcuterie or cutting board cut in the shape of the lake, in our shop in Incline Village, Nevada. Custom work takes about one to two weeks in the shop, then 5–7 days standard shipping or 2–3 days express.

New to this? Our guide to personalized charcuterie boards walks through shape, wood choice, engraving and care before you commit.

What it costs

Boards are priced by size, then adjusted for species and thickness. Here is the honest range so you know where you land before you write to us.

Size What it usually is Range
8–14 in Small serving or cheese board From $100
11–18 in Our most-ordered charcuterie board $150–$250
13–22 in Large board, or board that doubles as wall art Around $225
19 × 11 in, epoxy river Statement piece with a poured resin channel Around $250
13 × 17 in cutting board Built to be cut on, end grain construction $250–$350

What moves you within a range: the species (Patagonian rosewood and curly maple sit at the top, walnut and acacia lower), the thickness of the slab, whether there is poured epoxy, and whether a cutting board is end grain. Engraving is quoted on top.

We confirm the exact number with you before anything is cut. No deposit until you have approved the price and the ship date.

What we engrave

Two names and a wedding date. A cabin or house name. An anniversary. A closing date on a property. A short line that means something to the person getting it.

Woods: black walnut, sapele, Patagonian rosewood, acacia and curly maple. Every plank is picked in person, so the grain is different on every board.

Questions

How much does a custom Lake Tahoe board cost?

Between $100 and $350 depending on size, species and construction. A small serving board starts around $100, our most-ordered 11–18 inch charcuterie board runs $150–$250, and a large end grain cutting board is $250–$350. Engraving is quoted on top. See the table above for the full breakdown.

How much does engraving cost?

It depends on the piece and how much engraving is involved, so we quote it rather than publish a flat rate. Send us the wording and we'll come back with a number.

How long does a custom board take?

About one to two weeks in the shop, then 5–7 days standard shipping or 2–3 days express. If you have a hard date, say so before you order rather than after and we'll confirm whether we can hit it.

Can you rush an order?

Sometimes, depending on what's on the bench. Ask before you order rather than after.

What's the difference between a charcuterie board and a cutting board?

A charcuterie board is built for serving — thinner, finished to show the grain, and many have a hidden hook so they hang as wall art between gatherings. A cutting board is built to be cut on: thicker, often end grain so it is kinder to your knives, usually with a juice groove.

Can you engrave a board I already own?

Email us. It depends on the finish and the wood, so we'd want to see it first.

Can I see a proof before you cut?

Yes. We confirm placement and spelling with you before anything touches the laser.

Where are these made?

Incline Village, Nevada, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. We're a workshop, not a retail storefront, so everything is built here and shipped to you.
